How BVI Sail & Stay Works
A Sail & Stay itinerary combines time aboard a private yacht with time ashore in a BVI villa. The number of yacht and villa nights can be tailored around availability, travel dates, group size and budget.
A popular example is four nights aboard a private catamaran followed by three nights in a villa, but this is a sample rather than a fixed package. We can also reverse the order, adjust the number of nights, and recommend yacht and villa combinations that fit your group.

Sample BVI Sail & Stay Itinerary
Sample itinerary: Your route can be tailored to your dates, yacht and villa availability, weather, sea conditions and personal preferences.
Day 1
Begin your BVI Sail & Stay experience at Soper’s Hole Marina, where you will meet your yacht and crew. After a welcome and safety briefing, cruise toward Norman Island for your first anchorage. Enjoy a swim or snorkel before settling into island time, with dinner aboard or ashore depending on your charter style and preferences.
Day 2
After breakfast, cruise toward Virgin Gorda and the North Sound, one of the BVI’s signature yachting areas. Spend the day swimming, exploring by tender or relaxing aboard. Depending on your itinerary, you may also enjoy time ashore at Bitter End Yacht Club or Saba Rock.
Day 3
Set sail for Anegada, the BVI’s distinctive low-lying coral island. Explore its quiet beaches, look for flamingos and enjoy the relaxed island atmosphere. Snorkeling, a local island tour and an Anegada lobster dinner can be arranged according to guest preferences, weather and availability.
Day 4
Continue to Jost Van Dyke for a day of beautiful beaches and classic BVI island culture. Spend time at White Bay, enjoy the laid-back beach bars, or explore Great Harbour. Your crew can tailor the day around swimming, watersports, dining ashore and the atmosphere your group prefers.
Day 5
Enjoy your final morning aboard as the yacht returns toward Soper’s Hole. After disembarkation, transfer to your selected BVI villa and settle into the land portion of your stay. Unpack, relax by the pool and enjoy the privacy and comfort of your island home.
Day 6
Spend the day exploring Tortola at your own pace. Cane Garden Bay is an easy choice for swimming, beach time and casual dining, while your MCC itinerary can also include other beaches, restaurants and island experiences according to your interests.
Day 7
Make the most of your final full day in the BVI with a relaxed visit to Smuggler’s Cove or another favorite Tortola beach. Keep the day unhurried, enjoy the water and return to your villa for a final evening overlooking the islands.
Day 8
Enjoy a final morning at the villa before check-out. Your departure transfer can be coordinated to the appropriate ferry terminal or airport based on your onward travel arrangements.
