William (Will)
Captain
Will is a highly experienced charter captain having spent over 17 years as captain on large charter yachts cruising worldwide. He has overseen every aspect of the rebuild of Coral Ocean and is extremely excited and proud to show her amazing potential. Originally from the north of England, Will now, lives in Palma de Mallorca with his wife and 2 girls. He grew up sailing and after graduating in Mechanical Engineering pursued a career in yachting first on sailing yachts then on large motor yachts. An avid water sports fan, he counts kitesurfing as his favourite pastime and can be seen out on the waves when time allows.

Tom
Captain
Tom was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa where he was active within the dinghy and keelboat sailing clubs. After finishing High School he enlisted in the South African Navy and was later commissioned as a Warfare Officer, completed a Bachelor of Military Science Degree and served on various ships. Leaving the Navy at 25, he headed overseas where he worked to fund various travels and adventures. Since 2001, Tom as worked on both sailing and motor yachts ranging in size from 15m to 80m, the last eight years as Captain. Many of the yachts have been expedition style with world-wide cruising itineraries. Tom is looking forward to the busy charter and owner program of Coral Ocean and getting to know the Owner, Guests and her crew.

Sam
Chief Officer
Sam obtained a Sport’s degree focusing mainly on the teaching and learning aspects of sports and involved in the education profession teaching sport and science before embarking on a career in yachting. Growing up on the water, it was only natural that from a very young age he was taught a range of water sports, which have now become his major hobbies. It was only a logical progression into the yachting industry and Sam will no doubt enjoy sharing his passion for the ocean with guests and is always eager to teach. As a Chief Officer, Sam is often working in the bridge to ensure the safety of the Coral Ocean while underway or at anchor but will jump at the opportunity of getting out on deck with the team and interacting with guests. Whether its hiking, kitesurfing, foiling or wakeboarding, Sam will be well up for it.

Martin
Captain
Martin was Born in Plymouth, England. From a young age, Martin started sailing through his father, who was serving in the Royal Marines, which introduced him to a life at sea. Martin completed a 3 year cadetship working in the offshore oil and gas industry serving in the Middle East, Africa, America and the North Sea. Since completing this, he has served on yachts from 70m to 140m and has been fortunate to experience charter destinations all over the world.

Steven (Stevo)
Chief Officer
Steven was born in Holland but was raised in France from the age of 7. He has actually been involved in yachting since a very young age when his parents liked to take the family out on their sailing yacht. Before he decided to dedicate his time and skills to the yachting industry, he was a competitive professional golfer. He learnt to work hard and to reach his goals, whether it was through training or teaching as he has a real desire to excel in all that he does. Steven loves being out on the sea and enjoys wake boarding, paddle boarding and jet skiing when he has the chance. Professionally you will notice that he takes pride in leading the deck team by example and approaches all tasks with a keen eye for detail. Personally, you will find him well-mannered, approachable and welcoming adding to the atmosphere on board Coral Ocean.

Lehan
Captain
Growing up in South Africa, where he spent weekends and holidays at the beach engaged in water sports and outdoor activities. After 5 years at University, completing his Business management and Law degree and Honors in Entrepreneurial and Business Management, Lehan was intrigued with what the yachting industry had to offer. With 4 years yachting experience Lehan is enthusiastic with a positive and uplifting attitude, he enjoys meeting new people from different countries and the friendships that yachting provides while doing what he loves while working on the water and seeing new places and destinations throughout the year.

Brandon
Captain
Brandon was born and raised in Zimbabwe with Italian roots. He quickly found his love for the ocean, straight after school when he travelled for a bit and decided to leave the land locked country behind and start his career on yachts. Brandon has worked on various yachts ranging from 60M - 113M in length. Travelling, meeting new people and working in beautiful destinations is what Brandon loves and that is what working on yachts gives him. He has worked his way up from being a deckhand and has his mind set sharp for climbing to the top one day in the future. On the side, Brandon enjoys playing tennis, Paddle staying fit and I’m sure you will see him whenever there is water sports going on.

Lena
Captain
Lena was born in NZ and but moved to the Gold Coast, Australia at the age of 21 to continue her Hairdressing career and then go on to work as a freelance Hairdresser. At 29 her love of travel, meeting new people and her passion for the water had her moving to the South of France to pursue her career in yachting. She started in interior then moved out on deck as the exterior and watersports is her true passion. She has been lucky enough to work on a variety of vessels 40 to 115, private and charter. Lena is looking forward to meeting all the guests that will be sailing on Coral Ocean and to provide them with the most unforgettable experiences.

Dafydd (Daf)
Captain
Daf was born in Wales but grew up on the water in Devon, Southwest England. He trained as a carpenter with a teak decking company in Barcelona in his late twenties. Since then, he's been working on yachts such as Pelorus and Le Grand Bleu, visiting Puerto Rico, Bermuda, Singapore, and the Caribbean in the process. Daf was involved with refitting the bridge onboard Coral Ocean, and his oak and walnut table is a signature piece unique to the industry. His experience, eye for detail, and sense of humour bring great qualities to the team onboard. He's also a keen portrait photographer and has a lifelong love of the sea.

Rigard (Ricky)
Captain
I have been in the industry since 2022, working as a Deckhand, Carpenter and/or Water sports Instructor onboard vessels ranging from 24m to 134m. I have a passion for the ocean, and always have. I’m a professional surfer and have extensive experience driving boats/tenders, fishing, diving, snorkelling, etc. I have 7 years’ experience as a Surf Guide/Coach, 3 years in Carpentry on land, and have held various managerial positions. I believe I can be an asset to Coral Ocean, and know she will provide me with invaluable experience and knowledge. I am grateful that I will be able to work on such a renowned yacht and look forward to giving the owners and future guests amazing experiences this summer season!

Ryan was born in Durban, South Africa and comes from a professional cycling background where he has lived and raced all over the world. He has always loved the outdoors and getting involved in all types sports and adrenaline filled activities. Since then Ryan has worked on motors yachts ranging from 50m to 90m. He is always willing to help and provide guest with a great experience onboard Coral Ocean.

Mzi (Zee)
Captain
Mzi has always held the ocean close to his heart, having grown up along the coastlines of South Africa, Durban and Cape Town. His passion for water sports came from a young age, being a swimmer and sportsmen. After discovering he was not going to be the next Tiger Woods, he ventured on to university in Cape Town. Following university Zee decided he wanted to follow his brothers footsteps and leap into the yachting industry. Having a big service background, and a passion for the water, he aims to bring both energy and warmth to all guests in every aspect, making every trip that comes, the best one yet

Ben was born in Stoke - On-Trent, England from a young age he was thrown into a swimming Pool where he went on to compete at a regional level and trained 8 times a week. He went to the university of Liverpool graduating with a first class honours degree in civil engineering. Ben went on to work as a struckral Enguneer before entering the yachting industry.

Dylan
Captain
Dylan was born in Aberdeen, Scotland. I have always been someone that loves all sports and water activities. When I was 16 I was playing Semi - Professional Football but having more passion for Golf, I made the decision to leave the UK for Savannah, Georgia, where I represented the SCAD University Golf Team and won 2 events in my college career. After 2 years in the professional scene, I had chosen to move into an Industry that gave me my love for the Sea and the ability to work in a great team environment. I can't wait to start my profession in Yachting and excited to have my first voyage on Coral Ocean, where I am eager to learn so much and excited to share my positive energy with all the Coral Oceans guests.

Chris
Captain
Chris was born in Chester in the north west of the UK. Growing up he was always active and keen to be outside. Getting invloved in a number of sports with the main focus being on rugby union and played for 22 years up until his final year of university at Leeds Beckett. Chris first became aware of yachting through some mutual friends at a summer job on the river in chester. When it came to that time in life to start making a decision of what career path to go down he eventually settled on yachting.This turned out to be the best decision hes made and has not looked back since. Completing phase one of his UKSA cadetship and after three enjoyable years in the industry. Chris is looking forward to combaining the great lifestyle of yachting and his passion for fitness in his role as Deck/PT and offering the best experience for the guests onboard.

Alan (Al)

Alan is Chief Engineer on MY Coral Ocean. He is from Liverpool where he lives with his girlfriend and young daughter. He joined the merchant navy aged 17 and has spent his career gaining experience in the commercial, offshore and yachting industries. He enjoys DIY, socialising, meeting new people and he has a passion for sports, mainly football and boxing.

Scott
Captain
Scott was born in Edinburgh, Scotland and has worked at sea ever since graduation, on various ships from some of the worlds largest tankers to cruise liners and fast ferries and has spent the last 16 years working on luxury yachts. Scott relishes technical challenges and always strives to provide the most seamless service, constantly adapting to encompass changing technologies in the industry. Outside of the engineering department he is a keen diver holding both Padi rescue diver and recreational rebreather certification and is also a passionate astrophotographer, enjoying spending late nights capturing the wonders of the cosmos.

Stuart (Stu)

Stuart is second engineer onboard Coral Ocean he joined before the exciting refit period in 2020. He was born in South Africa and grew up on the coast diving and fishing. He started in the yachting industry 17 year ago as a mate/ engineer on smaller sailing boats. Presently he lives in Palma de Mallorca with his little family and enjoys beach days with his 4 year old son.

Kirk
Captain
Kirk was born and raised in South Africa with Norwegian Heritage. Having grown up with the mussel of land to explore, he was introduced to drive bikes, to which the adventure have never stopped his mechanical skills been to develop on completion of shool col . Presently he lives in Palma de Mallorca with his little family and enjoys beach days with his 4 year old son.

Matthew
Captain
Matt was born in Devon a small county in the southwest of England where he started his career in refit and new build as Electrical engineer. Matt is keen a traveller, before making the transition to yachting he took a gap year and travelled southeast Asia, Indonesia, and Australia. In Matt’s spare time he enjoys being out on the water wake boarding, or with a racket in hand on the tennis court.

Noel
Captain
Noel was born in South Africa before moving to Scotland aged 5. He started his early career working for British Telecom as a Network Planning Engineer. After a few years working up the corporate world, he decided to change career path and started his ETO cadetship with Carnival UK Cruise Line. He sailed on MV Oceana and MV Aurora traveling around Europe, Middle East and the Caribbean. He then moved to Saga Cruises for a promotion as 2nd ETO aboard the Spirit of Adventure. Since coming into Yachting, Noel has sailed on MY Eclipse, a 120m+ Private Yacht and MY Wanderlust, cruising area such as Tahiti, Maldives, the Red Sea and the Med. In his free time, Noel likes to travel and when at home, home renovation and smart home technologies.

Gjorgi

Chef Gjorgi was born and raised in Macedonia where his passion for all things food began. He studied Food Science and Technology, apprenticed and trained with some of the best chefs in Macedonia and Europe .In his early 20’s he moved to St Maarten, after being exposed to the industry and having a brother who was already working on yachts, Gjorgi began his career as a yacht chef. During his 10-year yachting career, he has continuously explored various cuisines while working alongside some amazing chefs in the Caribbean and Mediterranean. Chef Gjorgi has served elite clientele both on land and on luxury sailing and motor yachts. He looks forward to stimulating guests’ palate with cuisine from all over the world. Nick
Captain
Nick was born in Acuto a small village outside Rome in Italy. While travelling the world and discovering new flavours to add to his cooking style, Nick has collected experiences in various countries of Europe, Asia and Oceania. After focusing on classical French and Italian cooking technics early in his career, he then directed his interests towards other cuisines that captured his attention; new Nordic, Australian, Maori/New Zealander. He truly enjoys bringing Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cooking to the table as these are flavours he grew up with although the cuisine which draws his biggest passion are undoubtedly Japanese and Asian with his Italian twist. Nick has worked on a variety of yachts ranging 60m to 95m as Head Chef and is now looking forward to getting the most out of Coral Ocean and providing memorable experiences for the guest who have the pleasure to sail with her.

I was born and grow up in Macedonia, where I finish culinary school. After my age of 25 moved abroad to the Caribbean Island of St Maarten where I worked in hotels and restaurants. Shortly after that I discover the yachting industry and started working on smaller yachts. In my spare time I Enjoy spending time in nature and also beekeeping , learning the craft of producing organic honey.

Jef

Born and raised in Belgium, Jef's culinary journey began at the age of 12 when he discovered his love for cooking. Fueled by his passion, he embarked on a dedicated path, enrolling in a professional chef education program. By the time he turned 18, Jef embarked on a globe-trotting adventure to refine his craft. From the vibrant flavors of South America to the aromatic spices of Thailand and the innovative techniques of Denmark, Jef immersed himself in diverse culinary landscapes, continuously expanding his repertoire and expertise.After years of enriching experiences in the restaurant business, Jef sought a new challenge and transitioned to the dynamic world of yachting. His journey in the yachting industry took him aboard two different vessels before joining Coral Ocean.

Dmytro (Dima)

Dmytro was born and raised in the district of Odesa, Ukraine. He started in the hospitality industry back in 2017 with a great passion for cooking. Starting as a waiter and deciding to follow his creative flair and artistic side, he enrolled in chefs school. He has now acquired 6+ years’ of experience in the hotel, restaurant and yachting industry, Four of which as a yacht chef. Dmytro, was previously an executive Sous chef on a 62 meter motor yacht and is now ready to take on new challenges and opportunities. He is beyond thrilled for the memories he will get to create onboard Coral Ocean.

Valeriia (Val)

Val grew up in the city life of Odessa, Ukraine .She has always had an incredible passion for horses and throughout her life growing up she competed as a show jumper representing her state in numerous competitions. Stemming from the travels she decided once her degree in Psychology and Communications was completed, she would take on a hospitality role within yachting where she has exerted her creativity and enthusiasm greatly. The last 12 years has allowed her to explore Bahamas, Caribbean, East, West and South Coast of the States extensively, South Pacific, Seychelles , Mexico, French Polynesia, Mediterranean on yachts. When Val manages some free time, she thrives off running, staying fit and exploring new places. She is fluent in English and hopes that you make incredible memories onboard.

Nicola was born in Cape Town, South Africa where she developed a passion for the outdoors and the ocean. Nicola went on to study a Bachelor of Commerce degree and worked in the corporate world, before her adventurous spirit lead her to pursue a career in yachting. Nicola has been in the yachting industry 10 years now and her primary focus is to ensure guests experience 7-star service onboard. In her spare time, Nicola enjoys scuba diving and skiing in her spare time, as well as working out, hiking and running to keep fit.

Ana
Captain
Ana was born and raised in the Bay of Boka, a gem of the Adriatic coast. At the age of 4, she started taking ballet classes which turns to be her big love that she enjoyed doing for 16 years and she thought the stage was gonna be her future, But life had another plan. She was drawn to the Yachting industry in 2015 by her uncle professional sailor/captain, not having an idea what Yachting is about and having no any plans to stay. But here she is, 9 years later, still enjoying what she’s doing. She has been on different types of yachts, cruising the Med, crossing the Atlantic Ocean to the Caribbean and the East coast of the USA. Slowly but surely, she was headed up the ladder to reach her final goal and become a leader of the Interior Department.

Holly grew up in a small picturesque Yorkshire town just outside of York. Having been in hospitality since she was 15, she takes great pride in her work and caring for others. With a desire to see the world, after graduating from Film School in 2019, with a first class honours, she headed straight for the yachting industry. Holly has been in the industry for 5 years, gaining a wealth of knowledge and experience being onboard a variety of vessels from 54m to 84m, leading her to Head of Housekeeping. Ever since stepping onto her first yacht, she has found a great love for the sea and for giving top tier service. She is a driven and positive individual with a great joy for going above and beyond for her guests.

Josefine also called Josie is 27 years old, from Stockholm Sweden. Ever since Josie finished school she had a big passion for traveling and exploring the world. She explored the backpacking life in Asia, spent a short period living and working in London and also travelled all over the world with her previous job as a flight stewardess for a private family from Sweden. Josie got into yachting 2019 where she started off in the Mediterranean sea over the summer months. After that she’s been exploring the world on different kind of boats from 35m up to 140m. Otherwise Josie has a big passion for service and food and is a very social person that like spending most of her time with her friends and family whenever she have the time. Josie is now very excited to start this new adventure on Coral Ocean!

Dayna

Dayna grew up in a small coastal town in the Eastern Cape of South Africa where she grew an immense passion for the ocean which has joyously followed through in life. The wellness industry was always of interest to her, leading her to pursue a career in beauty, health, and skincare. For three years, she worked in the Cayman Islands, refining her skills as a beauty and massage therapist in high end hotels. Later, she transitioned into luxury yachting, serving as a stewardess and masseuse on a 95m vessel. Dayna is now looking forward to giving quality treatments and experiences to all guests on Coral Ocean.

Lisset
Captain
Lisset was born and raised in Venezuela, since her childhood she enjoyed cooking and delighting her friends and family with culinary preparations. Once she finished high school, started a hospitality management career that came from her passion for serving others. Lisset also practiced many sports since she was very young, but when she started doing yoga at the age of 14, she decided that it had to be part of her lifestyle, for which after finishing her bachelor’s degree also got certificated as yoga instructor, ever since, she has been teaching yoga and pilates. In December of 2023, Lisset decided to join the yachting industry, convinced that she would learn how to provide seven stars service and to combine her passions and skills in a lifestyle, by being a stewardess. She has worked on 35m and 70m motor yachts and even though she is just starting her yachting journey, she is ready to create unforgettable moments for guests on board.

Emelie was born in Stockholm, Sweden. Discovered her true passion for the water and yachting. With a profound love for the sea, she transitioned from her background in Digital Content Design to embark on a new adventure in the yachting world last year. Emile is eagerly looking forward to immersing herself in the unique experiences offered by Coral Ocean, driven by her genuine enthusiasm for the maritime lifestyle. Her journey reflects a deep connection with the water and she is committed to bringing that passion to the forefront as she contributes to creating unforgettable moments for the guest.

Mia's passion for hospitality has always been her driving force, and after exploring other industries, she realized that her heart lies in this field. To pursue her passion, she ventured into the yachting industry, where she is presented with exciting challenges and has the opportunity to push herself to meet the high standards expected by elite clients. This industry offers more than just bar and restaurant work, as it has various departments that allow her to develop and showcase multiple skills. Her love for travel has been instilled since her childhood, where she traveled and moved to different countries, learning about various cultures. This love for travel still persists, and she enjoys exploring off-the-beaten-path destinations, hoping to have many amazing experiences to share with her guests.

Keren is a South African born stewardess who grew up in the ocean in Cape Town. That is what initially drew her to the ocean and her yachting career. With experience in hospitality and the service industry it was a seamless transition to the world of yachting. Keren is motivated and dedicated to her career in the yachting industry and looks forward to gaining experience on Coral Ocean.

Shank

Shank, is the Laundry Master on board Coral Ocean. He is a Sri Lankan national with a professional yachting background. Shank's favorite charter destination is around the world, and his most cherished yachting experience was his first time crossing the equator. He has previously worked on MY Kingdom 5kr and MY Caipirinha and enjoys walking as a hobby when not on board.

Sandesh

Sandesh likes to explore new places and used to go trekking in the Himalayan region of Nepal. He used to work at the British Gurkha Headquarters in Nepal before his life lead him to start a career at sea. Sandesh started working on Star Cruise Ships as a Housekeeper. Since 2018, he has worked as a Laundry Man on M/Y Flying Fox. He has an in depth understanding of the need for the highest quality laundry service to the guests. He now looks forward to providing an exemplary service onboard Coral Ocean!
